API configuration for EMIS (per user)

The following process needs to be done once only:

1. Log into EMIS Web and go to System Tools > EMAS Manager > Partner API

2. Highlight Black Pear Pyrusium and make sure the product is active by checking that a green tick is next to the name. If this is not the case, click on the Activate Application button on the toolbar

3. Highlight Black Pear Core and make sure the product is active by checking that a green tick is next to the name. If this is not the case, click on the Activate Application button on the toolbar 

 

 

4. Click the Edit Users button on the toolbar:

5. For each user who requires access to Core Care Plans, tick the user and then click Change Password to enter a password. This password is automatically picked up as they log into EMIS so there is no requirement for this password to be passed on to that user.

6. After entering the password, click OK:

7. Highlight Black Pear Pyrusium in the list of Partner APIs and click the Login Access button on the toolbar:

8.  For each user who requires access, tick Auto Login and Allow Login and then click OK:

9. Highlight Black Pear Core in the list of Partner APIs and click the Login Access button on the toolbar:

10. For each user who requires access, tick Auto Login and Allow Login and then click OK:
