Firewall configuration for Core Care Plans integration

This article describes the firewall and web proxy rules that must be configured in order to use Core Care Plans integrations including FHIR Subscription rest-hooks and custom web-service calls. Configuration will normally be carried out by a local IT provider.

Firewall rules for production environment
Requests will be made from Black Pear proxy servers on HSCN (UK Health & Social Care Network) with the following IP addresses:

  • 10.41.130.77
  • 10.41.130.92

Requests using Black Pear Core connectivity to internet endpoints will be made from Black Pear proxy servers on the internet with the following IP addresses:

  • 3.9.108.185

  • 18.135.135.110
  • 18.133.179.145

Black Pear also use a VPN to provide static IP for engineers working directly with recipient endpoints. Requests will be made from Redcentric VPN servers on HSCN.

All traffic uses TCP on port 443.

Firewall rules for development and demo environments

Black Pear operates separate development and demo environments which replicate the production environments.  Requests will be made from Black Pear proxy servers on the internet with the following IP addresses:

  • 35.176.6.29 (demo)
  • 35.177.254.210 (demo)
  • 35.176.77.228 (development)
  • 35.176.97.198 (development)
  • 18.169.153.24 (core-latest)
  • 18.169.222.148 (core-latest)
  • 18.134.42.91 (core-latest)
  • 18.170.150.151 (core-beta)
  • 18.132.26.52 (core-beta)
  • 3.11.111.47 (core-beta)

Black Pear also uses a VPN to provide static IP for engineers working directly with recipient endpoints. Requests will be made from Black Pear VPN servers on the internet with the following IP addresses:

  • 185.73.38.186 (engineer VPN)
  • 169.150.239.144 (engineer VPN)

All traffic uses TCP on port 443.
