Accessing the Shared Care Forms dashboard

John Wade -

The Shared Care Forms dashboard provides a system wide view of all forms and gives a good visual representation of form usage by allowing users to monitor activity on a regular basis.

To access this area within PIP, please login and select your role. If you do not have a role, the article below will guide you through the role request process:

https://support.blackpear.com/hc/en-us/articles/25141927489949-Requesting-a-new-role-within-the-PIP-application

After selecting your role, choosing the Shared Care Forms option picture below will take you to into the dashboard

You are then taken to the dashboard which shows your care plan(s) data

RBAC role restrictions

Your currently selected role (top right of all PIP pages under your organisations name) dictates what is presented within the Shared Care Forms dashboard. For example, if you have selected the Clinical Practitioner Access Role [R8000], this will allow you to view document data which includes patient identifiable information. However, choosing the Data Analyst [XR001] role will obfuscate the data.
The full list of the RBAC Roles and their activities can be viewed here

Organisation restrictions

Your currently selected organisation (top right of all PIP pages) will determine how much data you see within the dashboard. You may only see your own organisations data unless your organisation is the commissioning organisation of the service. For example:

  • 'Service A' has a commissioning organisation of Q71 NHS England London
    • If your organisation is Q71, you will see all organisations within the dashboard
    • If your organisation is not Q71, you will see only your own organisations data within the dashboard
