SystmOne API Configuration

Tiffany Hodkinson -

For QuickFHIR installations on the gateway workstation, it is expected that one user will remain logged into SystmOne at all times.  The following process only needs to be done once per user who will log into the SystmOne.  It might be preferred to set up a new user solely for this purpose.

Prerequisites

  • the gateway workstation is switched on
  • the Windows account used has sufficient permissions to write to C:\Windows\Temp
  • SystmOne is running and the user logged into SystmOne has sufficient permissions to support the service for which it is intended
  • the responder service is running

To approve the API connection

1. API configuration occurs automatically on the first API request to SystmOne.  There is a 30second window to approve the request.  Please arrange a date and time with support@blackpear.com for the request to be sent:

2. Click the Approve button

Reversing a blocked permission

Where the SystmOne API was inadventently blocked, a message similar to the following will exhibit in Pyrusium:

Error Saving Credentials
Pyrusium error: status 500 - GET Active Session failed -
DeviceID [6cd6e2010d201769] has been refused connection permission by the SystmOne user - Please reload the page.

To resolve this:

1. Log into SystmOne with the credentials of the user who is experiencing the error and go to: Setup > Mobile Working & Integration > Device Manager:
